REPLACEMENT OF SNAP BACK RUBBER AND URETHANE LAGGING
STEP ONE
REMOVE WORN RUBBER STRIP. Insert small pry bar or heavy screwdriver between the end of rubber strip and inner 14 ga. steel channel and pry outward.
STEP TWO
REMOVE 14 GA. STEEL CHANNEL. Loosen channel by tapping edges with a hammer or by driving it out with a block or drift. This part IS NOT re-used.
STEP THREE
CLEAN INSIDE OF 7 GA. WING CHANNEL. Remove rust, dirt and scale from inside surfaces of wing channel and lubricate lightly. Check ends of channel for burrs or sharp edges. The inside corners of the narrow flange should be rounded slightly.
STEP FOUR
INSTALL NEW RUBBER INSERT cement rubber and channel assembly into end of wing. Insert end of repl-channel and drive into place with a block of hardwood and a heavy hammer.
